Kristin Farr – New Works

Kristin Farr’s artwork is directed by color and influenced by folk art practices, synesthesia and magic. She works in painting, immersive installations, and soft sculpture. 

The colors in many of her new paintings were drawn from Ocean Beach and The Sunset, which have a lifelong special place in her heart. She is thrilled to bring this new series of West Coast Hex Sign paintings and one of her signature Hug Chairs to The Great Highway, one of her favorite galleries. 

The Great Highway

The Great Highway is a contemporary art gallery and printing studio located in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset district. The Great Highway gallery was founded in 2011 and focuses on an appreciation for images and ideas that explore the intersection of land and water.  The Great Highway gallery’s mission is to support and promote the work of a diverse group of artists who seek sincere stories, challenge conventional thinking, entertain, and enlighten us.
